Brain Scans Prove Humans Ignore Details That Support Existing Views

According to recent research, our minds are totally delusional. "Your memories are mere figments of your imagination and your decisions are swayed by irrational biases." explains author David DiSalvo in his latest book, What Makes Your Brain Happy.
In fact, DiSalvo shows brain scans proving that we treat conflicting information as if it were a physical threat. Then, we choose the ‘happier’ option - by ignoring details that don’t fit our views.
I mean, we totally disagree, but that’s besides the point :)
