Interface improvements

We’re rolling out some changes to the site’s design tonight: we’re simplifying navigation between courses and reducing unnecessary clutter.

First, the navigation—the list of your courses, groups, and a few other things—is moving from the left of the screen, to the top. This is a more familiar and intuitive placement.

Second, we’ve removed unnecessary clutter on both the dashboard and the course interfaces.

Lore’s interface should feel weightless and immediately intuitive. Today we’re removing several elements, many of which were added with a significant amount of consideration in the first place. We’re excited to do it though. Technology is best when it gets out of the way, and that’s what we strive for.
